The fanfare preceding the academic procession at the Sept. 14 installation of President Steven Leath likely had a pleasantly familiar ring to many in the audience.

Director of bands Michael Golemo composed "A Cyclone Fanfare" for the occasion.

"I used excerpts from the three school songs in a very symphonic and nontraditional way," Golemo said. "I also used a fourth unofficial school song that should be familiar to Jack Trice Stadium regulars."
