Cyclones Care: It’s not just about protecting you, it’s about protecting all of us
Video Script
Wendy Wintersteen (WW):
Hello Cyclones! I’m President Wendy Wintersteen.
Julia Campbell (JC):
and I’m Julia Campbell, President of Student Government.
I’m sure you’re as excited as I am about being back in Ames to enjoy everything Iowa State University has to offer. But for our on-campus experience to be a success, we need your help to protect the ISU community.
WW:
The science is clear — getting vaccinated is safe and effective, and the best way to prevent you from getting seriously ill.
JC:
And all Cyclones are encouraged to wear a face mask indoors, even if you’re vaccinated. It’s an important second layer of protection.
WW:
So can you please help us out and wear a mask in the classroom, lab, library, in line at the dining center, and all other indoor places where you’re around others…
JC:
Because it’s not just about protecting you, it’s about protecting all of us – your classmates, friends, professors, and colleagues.
WW:
So, we encourage you to get vaccinated…
JC:
Wear a mask…
WW:
And let’s encourage each other to show how Cyclones Care about our community!
