Invitation to Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week

March 21, 2022

Dear Colleagues,

For the past two years, the ISU community has surmounted extraordinary pandemic-related challenges. Thanks to you – our incredible faculty and staff – Iowa State University remains strong and mission-focused because of your hard work, innovation, collaboration and care.

We wish to show our gratitude by inviting you to participate in Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week, March 28 – April 1, for faculty, merit and professional and scientific staff, post docs and contract employees. Supported by the Offices of the President, Provost, Senior Vice Presidents and University Human Resources, this is a chance for you to have some fun, reconnect with colleagues and strengthen our sense of community. As announced in Inside Iowa State, the week-long celebration will include a variety of in-person and virtual activities, events and tours.

Please visit the Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week website for the full list of daily events and registration information. Some events have capacity limits and require pre-registration.

While it’s not realistic to attend every event, we ask that supervisors work with their employees to encourage and permit reasonable participation that balances the needs of your office or unit.

We hope you will take part in this celebration of appreciation. Thank you for all that you do to make Iowa State University a very special place.
